DESCRIPTION:Join your fellow Chamber members and guests at the General Membership Luncheon.  Networking starts at 11:30 am\, the program begins at noon and we are finished by 1:15 pm.\n\n\n\nLuncheon Sponsor:  Royal Banks of Missouri\n\n\n\nLuncheon Speaker: Jeff L. Pittman\, Ph.D.\, Chancellor\, St. Louis Community College\n\nTopic: Update on the STLCC Transformed Community Plan.  The Plan\, the result of a 2021 voter-approved property tax increase\, will provide the Community College District with an annual $30 million boost financed through a $350 million bond issue.  The funds support projects to upgrade and modernize facilities on all STLCC campuses and expand programming in healthcare\, IT\, financial services\, biotech\, and manufacturing. \n\nBrief Speaker Bio:  Jeff L. Pittman\, Ph.D.\, began his role as chancellor of St. Louis Community College in July 2015. He is responsible for guiding a multi-campus college system with four main campuses that offer college transfer options and more than 80 career-focused programs. STLCC is the largest higher educational institution in the region\, the third largest in Missouri\, and serves more than 45\,000 students annually.  In 2021\, it was the first community college in MO to receive approval for a bachelor's degree program. Dr. Pittman earned a doctorate in educational leadership\, administration and foundations\, and a master's degree in human resource development from Indiana State University. He has a bachelor's degree in business from Indiana University. \n\n\n\nMenu: Pork Loin\, Roasted Potatoes\, Seasonal Veggies\, and Cherry Crisp\n\n\n\nPlease note: due to supply shortages\, all RSVPs received AFTER noon the Friday before the luncheon will be served the Alternate Menu which will consist of House Salad\, Club Sandwich\, Chips\, and Vanilla Ice Cream.\n\n\n\nChamber Members\, be sure to take advantage of the Early Bird Discount for the Luncheon Program of $25 for Chamber members who RSVP by noon the Friday before the Luncheon\, after that the cost goes up to $35.  The cost for Non-Members is $35. Must register and pay in advance of the luncheon. Fruit & Veggie plates MUST also be requested by noon the Friday before the Luncheon. Late requests cannot be accommodated.  Remember - Greenbriar has a strict No-Denim policy. No refunds or credits will be issued on any cancellations made less than 24 hours before luncheon.\n\n\n\n"Suits for Soldiers" drive.  We aim to collect men's and women's suits and accessories to donate to Heroes Cares.
