Tim has a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Truman State University and a Master of Management degree from Fontbonne University. Tim has been an Assessor for the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA) since 2004 and currently serves as a CALEA Team Leader\, conducting assessments of law enforcement\, communications\, and training academy programs. In 2018\, Tim was elected to the seven-member St. Louis County Council for a four-year term representing 140\,000 residents of central and south St. Louis County.
