In Sheila's first 18 years of her career, she served in several roles at a Fortune 500 Financial Services company where she led teams focused on new and existing product development and delivery in support of 15,000+ financial advisors. She also led the company’s internship and early career programs where she worked with leaders to enable young professionals to build their professional and technical skills as well as their network. Sheila also led company-wide philanthropic campaigns resulting in record breaking employee participation and fundraising for the greater St. Louis community.
As a leadership development coach, Sheila partners with individuals to explore who they are, what they want, what brings them energy, and how they define success in pursuit of their personal and professional goals. She also provides leadership development workshops and change management planning and enablement to companies to help them achieve their business and talent growth goals.
Sheila obtained her Bachelor’s in finance and accounting at Saint Louis University. She is a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) and Certified Master Practitioner of the Energy Leadership Index™ (ELI-MP), a unique attitudinal assessment that has a powerful application for individuals and teams. She obtained these credentials through the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC), a premier program accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF). Sheila is also a certified Change Practitioner through Prosci®, a global leader in change management, which involves the application of a structured process of change to achieve a desired outcome through enabling shifts in peoples’ mindsets, development of their skillsets, and providing support through tools, leaders, and coaching.
Sheila’s passion for giving back and making an impact in the community has been a constant in her life, particularly with organizations focused on elevating women and girls, serving as Vice President of the RISE Society board which focused on empowering women and girls to identify and pursue their professional goals. During that time, she led a high school mentor program matching professional women of different industries with high school girls focused on college and career readiness. She has also been involved with RUNG for Women, particularly in activities associated with preparing women for their next professional job.
Sheila has lived in St. Louis most of her life. She and her husband, Alex, live in Kirkwood, with their three energetic boys.
