Suzanne Sierra, Assistant Director, St. Louis Mosaic Project
Anna Hall, Dir. of Workforce Solutions, The International Institute
Topic: How to Hire Internationally Trained New Americans.
The St. Louis Mosaic Project, part of the World Trade Center-St. Louis, and the International Institute, work with refugees and foreign-born job seekers. They will share information about how to connect to this untapped talent pool.
Suzanne's Bio:
As Assistant Director for the St. Louis Mosaic Project Suzanne manages programs toward Mosaic’s goal of transforming St. Louis into the fastest growing major metropolitan area for immigration by 2025. This includes collaborating with business, university, and community partners to provide connections to foreign-born individuals and entrepreneurs that help them acclimate to the region.
As the daughter of Colombian immigrants, she understands first-hand, the struggles faced by new arrivals to the U.S. and is passionate about helping people like her parents find resources, community and a sense of belonging.
Previously, Suzanne held senior communication roles with Fleishman-Hillard Public Relations and Anheuser-Busch in Hispanic marketing, government affairs and crisis communications.
Suzanne holds a BA in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin and serves on the Boards of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce-St. Louis, the Hispanic Leaders Group and The Collective Thread. She is a former City Council person for Olivette. In 2021 Suzanne was named a Champion of Diversity and Inclusion by the St. Louis Business Journal.
Anna Hall, LMSW Bio:
Anna Hall is a Licensed Master Social Worker and Educator with 14 years of experience in social services. Using an empathic lens to see individuals with dignity and respect, Anna has worked with immigrant families, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence. She has led educational programs in both St. Louis and East Africa, coordinated research for a nation-wide study analyzing curriculum effectiveness as well as regional issues in education equity. Now back at the International Institute of St. Louis, Anna is the Director of Workforce Solutions and holds a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Missouri - St. Louis.

The cost for Non-Members, and walk-ins is $35. Fruit & Veggie plates MUST be requested by noon the Friday before the Luncheon. Late requests cannot be accommodated. No refunds or credits will be issued on any cancellations made less than 24 hours before luncheon.
