Stonebridge Financial Group is a growing independent wealth management and financial planning firm seeking a motivated operations leader to help build the next phase of our organization.

This is not a traditional operations manager position.

We are looking for an individual who wants to help create operational excellence, improve advisor support, strengthen compliance processes, and contribute to the long-term growth of the firm. The successful candidate will work directly with ownership and have the opportunity to take on increasing leadership responsibilities as the firm grows.

Position Overview

The Director of Operations & Growth will be responsible for creating scalable systems, improving efficiency, managing technology platforms, supporting compliance initiatives, and helping establish operational best practices throughout the firm.

During the first six months, the primary focus will be on documenting processes, optimizing technology, creating reporting systems, and building a strong operational foundation.

As operations mature, this role will expand into advisor recruiting, strategic growth initiatives, and increased leadership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Process Management

  • Create and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Establish repeatable workflows and accountability systems
  • Develop operational dashboards and partner reports
  • Improve efficiency through workflow design and automation
  • Support staff and advisors with best practices and training

Technology Management

Improve integrations, workflows, and data integrity

Learn, manage, and optimize:

  • Orion
  • Redtail
  • Zocks

Financial Administration

  • Manage QuickBooks
  • Process bills and deposits
  • Coordinate payroll and contractor payments
  • Track multiple revenue streams and reporting metrics

Compliance & Vendor Oversight

  • Coordinate recurring compliance requirements
  • Maintain operational documentation
  • Manage vendor relationships
  • Help ensure operational consistency and oversight

Growth & Leadership

Following operational stabilization, responsibilities will expand to include:

  • Recruiting and onboarding financial advisors
  • Supporting business development initiatives
  • Participating in strategic planning
  • Managing projects and operational staff
  • Helping shape the long-term direction of the firm

Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum 3 years of financial services experience
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated with a problem-solving mindset

Preferred

  • 5+ years of experience in wealth management, financial planning, RIA, broker-dealer, or investment operations
  • Experience with Orion, Redtail, CRM systems, or advisor technology platforms
  • QuickBooks experience
  • Familiarity with compliance-related processes
  • Leadership or supervisory experience

Compensation: $60,000-$90,000 based upon experience, with bonus opportunity
