Brief Speaker Bio: Councilman Tim Fitch retired from active-duty law enforcement service in 2014 after a 31-year career with the St. Louis County Police Department, serving the last five years as the Chief of Police. Tim has a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Truman State University and a Master of Management degree from Fontbonne University. Tim has been an Assessor for the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA) since 2004 and currently serves as a CALEA Team Leader, conducting assessments of law enforcement, communications, and training academy programs. In 2018, Tim was elected to the seven-member St. Louis County Council for a four-year term representing 140,000 residents of central and south St. Louis County.
